Balloon and Penguins

Well it's a great day and a little bit of a sad day all in one.  The 2016 Stampin' UP! catalog went live yesterday.  Yay!!!  Here's a link to the 2016 Stampin' UP! Catalog. 

My preorder of new 2016 Stampin' UP! Products arrived yesterday. Who doesn't love new stamps, papers, ribbons, embellishments etc.? 

Now the sad part.  No time to play with them.  I am leaving for a short trip to Portland, Maine today.  If you haven't been to Maine I highly recommend it.  It's a beautiful state.  Mike, the boys and I have taken 2 trips to Bar Harbor in the past.  It's a must see.

Being that I have not had time to create with my new stamps, papers etc. I am featuring a card that I CASED from Pinterest.  I am sorry but I don't have the original artists name.

Who doesn't love penguins and balloons?  This card features 2 stamp sets.  Balloon Celebration (pg. 24 of the SU 2016 - 2017 Catalog) and Snow Place (pg. 30 of the SU 2016-2017 Catalog).  Balloon Celebration (a great 28 piece photopolymer stamp set which features 2 step stamping) is paired with it's own balloon punch for ease of cutting out those balloons.  Snow Place (22 piece photopolymer stamp set) coordinates with Snow Friends Framelits Dies for ease of cutting out those shapes.  Snow Friends is a Christmas Set that is versatile for other times of the year.  Watermelon Wonder is one of the featured colors.
